We were awarded the tender in April 2017, to install and maintain CCTV at Housing Development Board (HDB) Industrial Estate. The project comprises of having CCTV surveillance coverage within 4 industrial estates with added feature of video analytics capability.
The video analytics feature enables monitoring and alarm triggering based on these 4 criteria and rules : camera tampering and obstruction, detection of vandalism on lift doors, detection of illegal parking in the estate and detection of unauthorized access to designated zones.
A centralized monitoring system was also incorporated to the total solution for the purpose of streamlining all alarms from each estate back to HQ. This project is near completion now and undergoing user test.
We were invited to design and develop the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) fire resistant combat shirt. Working together with the RSN Fleet Commander, whom provided many valuable advice and feedback, we went through 2 design iteration with the RSN dress committee. RSN ordered 40 sets for a trial and we had delivered them in April this year.
In the near future, fire resistant combat shirt will be implemented for on-board crew as the combat shirt offers increased comfort and increased fire protection.
At this juncture, we are undergoing phase 2 of optimizing the shirt design after receiving feedback from the trial. Phase 2 will take place before end of 2017 and is expected to have a larger trial group of 100.
This is one of the most stringent uniform testing done in Singapore to date. Sample uniforms are subjected to a flash fire exposure of 4 secs, the severity and percentage of burns are recorded. Fire resistant, improved ergonomics and being constructed with 2 different fabrics to offer increased comfort in hot and humid operating environment are the key features of the fire resistant operational attire.
Force 21 was invited to help TransCom design and develop a Biological Agent Containment Kit which is to be stored at all the bus terminals in Singapore.
