The MOU was signed by Daniel Cheah, CEO, Force 21 Equipment Pte Ltd and Rio Mao, APAC Sales Director, Dahua Technology Singapore Pte Ltd. The signing ceremony took place in Singapore at Force 21’s office.
The agreement covers the collaboration works of both parties to identify and promote innovative solutions in the defence and security sector in the Southeast Asia region. This MOU will pave the way for the companies to reach new heights in the technology arena.
Force 21 had setup a branch office in Hanoi, Vietnam earlier this year. On 27 June 2017, Force 21 Vietnam held its inaugural focus seminar in Hanoi. The theme of our seminar is “Together We Build a Smart Port” and we invited Vinalines, the leading port, shipping and logistics player in Vietnam as our partner for the event. We also invited 4 of our partners, Tascent, G-Element, Schneider Electric and Navis Cargotec to tailor solutions for the Maritime industry.
We are happy to report that the event was a resounding success, with 31 participants from 8 major ports across Vietnam attending. Many enquiries were made and ideas were exchanged.
Our efforts to organise this was well rewarded with good feedback and comments from both the customers as well as our partners. We look forward to our next focus seminar!
In today’s world of technology, the terms “Internet of Things” and “Big Data” are often mentioned as the next big thing. We are happy to share that Force 21 has just won a project with JTC Corporation (a Singaporean state owned real estate company and statutory board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry) that makes use of these cutting edge technologies.
The JTC ONSTAR (One-North Smart Traffic Analytics & Research) project aims to gather traffic data from various sensors, including but not limited to video footage of traffic flow on the roads and telematics data of the area, etc. On top of the gathering and consolidation of data into a cloud based platform, we will also be designing custom data analysis models for JTC to enable them to do predictive analytics and planning of the road network in the One North Area.
With this project, Force 21 is now not just talking about the future technology but implementing them. We look forward to many more new wins together with our partners.
The Automated Height Infringement Detection System (AHIDS) is a project we have implemented at Singapore Changi Airport. It synergizes technological elements old and new, coming together to provide a last line of defense against errant contractors who would otherwise jeopardize the safety of planes landing and taking off from Changi Airport.
Using the latest in small/micro UAV technology, we are able to latch on an additional “black-box” at the highest point of construction vehicles, giving operators a real-time overview of the vehicle’s location and altitude right down to the centimeter level. Once a height infringement happens, the 3D operator interface alerts the Operator and synchronizes with the CCTV cameras we have implemented along with the system to provide the Operator with a visual appreciation of the situation on hand.
KZTech exhibited in Milipol Asia Pacific 2017 at Marina Bay Sands on 4 to 6 April. It was a rewarding exhibition as they have generated more than the expected interest and crowd thru the 3 days event.
They showcased 3 solutions, Aimetis Symphony, which is highly optimized at both recording and streaming video plus SSL encryption to ensure secure deployment. It was also developed from ground up to support video analytics. VIVOTEK is a leading brand in global security surveillance. They are improving its software/hardware R&D capabilities and expanding its already extensive strategic alliances with leading international software and hardware partners. Me22oREC is a Ruggedized Network Edge Recorder (NER) with in-built OctaV HD compression engine integrated with Me22o Video Management Software built for remote critical Infrastructure deployment.
It’s our third year running, exhibiting at CommunicAsia. This year it was held at Marina Bay Sands from 23 to 25 May 2017. Viridian Pod was the focal point of our exhibition. It supports businesses with affordable, reliable and scalable next-generation modular containerised data centre solutions for sustainable growth. The Viridian Pod series comprises two types of solutions: Modular Containerised Data Centres (M-CDCs) and All-in-one Containerised Data Centres (AIO-CDCs), each of which comes in a comprehensive product range designed for versatility and expansion, and suited to data centres of different sizes and construction complexities that can be used for long-term, temporary or permanent business facilities.
We also showcased Me22oREC, which is a Ruggedized Network Edge Recorder (NER) with in-built OctaV HD compression engine that compress incoming video feeds up to 90% making it ideal for storage of long video footages and transporting high-quality video across low bandwidth public and private networks. Me22oSYNC is a unique feature in Me22o Video Platform that provides video synchronization and stitching on un-stable network environment. We are pleased with the amount of interest we had garnered during the show.
As part of a national initiative to promote healthy lifestyle in the schools, our Fitness and Health division, FiTSA, was engaged for this program to help over weight students manage their weight healthily through lifestyle modifications. These programs also empower parents of these students to nurture healthy eating and active lifestyle habits for their child.
Our FiTSA team design & conduct the entire program from the right nutrition for the students to the sports, games or dance workout. We made the program fun and educational for all the primary school students islandwide. The program started in March and will complete end 2017.
